I assisted with the design and production of several themed conference rooms for Fun.com, transforming familiar pop-culture worlds into large-scale environmental graphics.
For the Nintendo conference room, I developed the graphics to work with the existing blue wall color, using the artwork as both a decorative element and a functional chair rail. The goal was to recreate the iconic first level of the original Super Mario Bros. NES game across the room. The initial concept incorporated additional elements, shading, and dimensional effects to create the illusion of 3D shapes. As the project developed, the client chose a more nostalgic direction focused on the distinctive look and simplicity of the original NES version.
I also assisted with the Star Wars and Goonies-themed conference rooms, helping prepare and refine artwork for large-format production. A key part of the process was ensuring that small AI-generated artwork could be successfully upscaled and reproduced at mural scale without losing important details or visual quality.
These projects combined illustration, graphic design, production expertise, and a little bit of pop-culture nostalgia to turn ordinary conference rooms into immersive brand experiences.
